Armed Peasants (unit #2)

Impetus Unit Type: FP
Base Size: 8cm x 3cm
Special: none
Manufacturer: Corvus Belli
Comments:
I'm hoping that a couple of units of peasants led by a unit of dismounted men-at-arms marching behind a screen of Breton javelins will make a nice cheap flank command. As you can see, although the unit is based on a heavy foot base, I've decided to suggest the unit's mob-like formation by using eight instead of the regular ten figures.

Interesting. Hopefully your peasants will work well!

Also, on a side note, I just got into Warmachine. Do you have any thoughts on picking an army, etc.?

Excellent stuff. One can never have too many peasants pressed into service. ;-)

Thanks gents. As it turns out, last night was their first game and, although the peasants never saw action, I won the game.

C'nor, you should certainly head over to the Privateer Press forums for the most up-to-date advice. However, I will say that in our group, most lists are warjack-focused, with infantry and solos playing a subordinate role. Of course, the new plastic starter boxes are the way to go.

More than most games Warmachine is about "the game," so it's important that you research the factions before you choose one - selecting based on looks may not work out so well.
